Beautiful Vintage Christian Dior 2056 Butterfly Frame Sunglasses

This is a beautiful pair of Christian Dior's most collectible and iconic sunglasses - the 2056 model -  in a very unusual colourway: pale gold and copper frames with graduating tint lilac lenses. It is virtually impossible to find this extraordinary model in this most unusual of colours. The sunglasses are marked 'Optyl Christian Dior' on the inside of the right arm and although this has now rubbed off, would have read 'Made in Austria 2056' on the inside of the left. They also bear the Christian Dior 'CD' insignia on each arm next to the hinge.

Condition: Very good vintage condition with some light wear to the lenses
